It Lives In The North Spotted in Rich Kidd Feature - Manifesto TV

Rich Kidd Release Party from themanifesto.ca on Vimeo.

Here's an in depth look at Rich Kidd by Manifesto TV. Easily one of the most exciting new artists in the urban scene, covered by a cultural pillar - Manifesto - this video is beautifully done and speaks to the quality of both efforts.

During parts of his mixtape release party, Rich Kidd is seen performing in a white and red It Lives In The North/Concrete Guerilla Ltd Edition Tee.

It Lives In The North Spotted As Bishop Brigante Gets Tattoo

The tatoo is centered around music, gambling and family. This was Pita Anthony's 6th piece for Brigante, this time anchored by a classic microphone reading family initials. The mic is surrounded by musical bars and all four card suits.

It Lives In The North Spotted In City Life Film Project

Rich Kidd is seen here on set of the short film based on his struggles as an inner city youth trying to make it in music. This short film is part of the City Life Film Project.

The Project: Partnering inner-city youth with top industry professionals, allowing each young filmmaker to bring some of Toronto's most amazing untold stories to the big screen.

The Goal: To introduce a new perspective on the realities of inner-city living through film and give young people from Toronto's underserved neighbourhoods industry mentorship, resources and a chance to tell their stories.

The Result: The City Life Film Project. Inner-city youth working with top industry mentors to produce 3 world class short films that add to the mosaic of Toronto's cultural identity.

It Lives In The North Spotted in "Lock Who" [video]

To my knowledge, this is Big Lean's first music video. The song has a gritty, yet clever, street-wise tone and the video follows a similar path. L&G Films created the visuals in and around Parma Court and caught cameos from Belly and Boi 1da to add some powerful co-signs. Not that Lean is resting on any kind of co-sign. The nicest coming out of Parma Court since Young Tony (aka Hush), Lean recently released a street album entitled I'm Here.

Watchout for a cameo from Bizz, rocking his It Lives In The North/Concrete Guerilla Collabo Tee.

It Lives In The North: King Of The Dot Mag

It Lives In The North has long been an avid supporter of King Of The Dot (KOTD) and is proud to be involved with a new magazine published by the battle league. With a new issue released the day of every event (roughly every six weeks), this magazine is growing quickly. Shouts to Avi Rex (pictured below alongside Ryan PVP) who coordinates the mag. They can be purchased online at King Of The Dot.
